Past Expeditions

New Zealand 2005

On the 25th February 2005 Glenn Shaw is due to leave the UK bound for a 5 week solo circumnavigation of New Zealand.

Everest 2003

Glenn has announced plans for a return trip to Mount Everest in 2003. This time he will attempt to reach base camp on the Tibetan side of the mountain.

Antarctica 2001

In December 2001 Glenn emabarked on the Southern Endeavour kayaking expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula.

Colorado 1999

In January 1999, Glenn went back to the American Rockies aiming to cross the Great Continental Divide by driving his team of huskies.

Israel 1998

In February 1998, with legs still not fully recovered from the Everest expedition, Glenn took part in a kayaking expedition to the Middle East with Brunel Universities Research & Development Team.

Everest 1997

On the 28th March 1997, Glenn joined five more conventional pedestrian adventures on an Oxventure Expedition to the roof of the world.

Canada 1996

Upon Glenn's return from the Colorado mountains in the winter of 1995 he decided that he wanted to experience the Canadian Rockies using his favourite modes of transport, the kayak and the Canadian canoe.
